Good Spells is a British music producer / artist / songsmith. Growing up in the North of England with stints in the Middle East (Kuwait and Bahrain), Good Spells' youth was a mix of British and Arabic culture with Manchester, England becoming home in his later formative years. American friends influenced musical tastes early on, birthing a love of rock & metal, with Manchester's world famous club culture solidifying a wide musical taste. Sneaking into nightclubs such as the infamous Boardwalk, and The Hacienda, way under legal age... and a regular at The Ritz and Rockworld, made sure wide tastes were maintained. An obsession with the music making process led to Good Spells hanging out in recording studios, before eventually moving to London, setting up and running studios with stints working at major labels and music industry bodies. Over time, Good Spells missed friends and family and a move back up North, to semi-rural surroundings, would become the foundation to finding the magic in music once again. Good Spells now works out of a custom sphere he calls Spells' Lab and releases music under his own label name, Magic Not Music.
